WHAT IS THE PRICE?
345€ + VAT until May 14th. May 15th the price increases to 545€ + VAT.
What is the format for the two days?
Each day will have five presentations and conclude with a moderated conversation with that day’s five presenters. Questions and conversations will be moderated by Jenny Hammar.
Will any presentations be pre-recorded?
No. None of the presentations are pre-recorded, and they are all done live, in the flesh, in Stockholm during the event.
What are Studio Audience members actually viewing?
Studio Audience members are viewing presentations live in Stockholm, meaning presenters will be physically present.
What exactly is Way Up North 2.0?
The event is an Online event streamed from Stockholm. An audience watches presenters live in Stockholm presenting, and simultaneously an Online Stream is shared with ticket buyers from around the globe.
Will I be able to share my Online Stream ticket with friends?
No. As an Online Stream buyer, you will have a unique URL and access code to view the event, and this may only be used once.
Can I download the event?
Downloading will not be possible, but some of the presentations will be available for separate purchase after the event.
Do I have to watch the event live or miss out?
You have up to one week to watch the stream after the live broadcast. However, only those viewing live will have the chance to interact and submit questions for the presenters.
What are you actually provided with as an Online Stream ticket buyer?
On February 18th, you will be emailed a private URL and access code. With this, you will be able to view the event live on the device of your choosing.
What are the presentations’ topics?
The theme for the 2018 events is: “INSPIRATION IS FOR AMATEURS”, which is a quote frequently credited to Chuck Close.
What language will be spoken?
The conference is in English and all presentations will be in English.
Are there breaks between presentations?
Yes. Between presentations there will be breaks and each day will have an extended lunch break.
Will I get to hang with the presenters?
If you have a Studio Audience ticket, then yes. If you do not catch them during the days, they will be at the evening socials.
When should I arrive and depart Stockholm?
We recommend an February 18th arrival and February 21st departure. The presentations take place on the 19th and 20th.
What time will the event happen?
Our tentative schedule is February 19th + 20th from 09:00 – 16:00 each day. Schedule is subject to change.
What airports serve Stockholm?
How do I travel to the venue from the airport?
The Arlanda Express train is the quickest option from Arlanda. Otherwise Flygbussarna (bus) serves all airports and is the and cheapest option. A taxi from Arlanda to central Stockholm is around 50 euro.
How do I travel between Epicentre and T-Centralen?
Where is the event taking place?
For Online Stream ticket holders, anywhere they have internet access. For Studio Audience ticket holders, presentations are held at Epicentre in central Stockholm (Mäster Samuelsgatan 36, 113 57 Stockholm).
Can I reserve my seat at the venue?
Seating is general admission, meaning seats are available but not pre-assigned to anyone.
What is the price?
Online Stream ticket are 69€. Studio Audience tickets are 195€. Prices do not include VAT. Purchases can be made here.
What is the “fee” for in the ticket purchase?
Eventbrite, the service we use for ticket sales, adds this service fee for every ticket sold and this fee is incurred by the ticket buyers.
Is the purchase refundable or transferable?
Purchases are not refundable for any reason. Studio Audience tickets may be transferred up until February 1st, 2018. No transfers will be accepted after February 1st, 2018.
How do I transfer my seat to someone else?
If it’s a Studio Audience ticket, you take care of the financials on your end. Once both parties are happy, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. No ticket transfers will be accepted after February 1st, 2018.
Are there studio rates or payment instalments?
Is VAT included in the price of the seat?
No. VAT is added upon checkout.
Will I receive a physical event ticket upon purchase?
This is only applicable for those with Studio Audience tickets. For event registration, all you need is identification (ID) and you will be provided with an event badge.
How do I get a receipt?
A receipt is automatically emailed to the address you used upon purchase. If you did not receive one, please let us know and we’ll get it to you.
When is event registration?
For Studio Audience ticket holders, this will happen the morning of day one (February 19th). For Online Stream ticket holders, no registration is necessary.
I want to get involved with event sponsorship. Where do I start?
Will attendees have access to the sponsors at the event?
Yes. Certain on-site sponsors will be provided with exhibitor tables at the event.
I can’t attend the event but still want to sponsor. Can I do that?

Will there be followup events after Way Up North 2.0?
Yes. The next Way Up North will happen on September 25 & 26 in Cologne (tickets), followed by the Way Up North Awards in November 2018.
