After 10 years of traveling across Europe, we still can’t quite believe we’re coming home to Stockholm.
We’re returning to Bio Skandia, where Way Up North began in October 2015. The same cinema where a community was born, though we didn’t know it then. Now for our 10th anniversary celebration on October 28th and 29th, 2025, we’re walking through those same doors.
Since that first event, we’ve put the guests who join us first and foremost. Over 10 years, you’ve guided every decision we’ve made. Now we’re coming full circle, back to where the journey started, to the place that shaped what WUN would become.
So we’re not going to mess this one up. 10 years of experience won’t allow that. An all-in celebration of a decade of WUN, right where it should be – home. Our “tack” to you.

What is Way Up North?
Way Up North (WUN) began in 2015 as a gathering for wedding photographers in Sweden and has since grown into a biannual celebration of the wedding photography community across Europe. Each spring and fall, we come together for two days of presentations, creative exploration, and community building in a new European city.
At WUN, you’ll experience inspiring presentations centered around a single theme, all held in one theater for a cohesive, immersive experience. Between talks, enjoy social events, connect with sponsors, and explore our host city with like-minded creatives.
Our community includes photographers, filmmakers, planners, florists, and other wedding creatives from all backgrounds and experience levels, united by a shared passion for weddings.
Ticket Policy
Our tickets are non-refundable but fully transferable to another person. If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to sell or gift your ticket to someone else. Simply let us know their name and contact details so we can update our records. Tickets are not transferable between events and cannot be used as credit toward future events.
