Join us on September 18th for a Nordic Gathering at Fotografiska in Stockholm for a day of practical knowledge and straight-talk.

Our English-speaking workshop is designed to give you the skills and strategies you need to build a thriving business. We’ll cut through the fluff and focus on the practical, actionable advice you need to succeed.

Over the course of the day, we’ll cover five workshops, each one focused on a specific area of business-building. From finding customers to making money, we’ll dive into the nitty-gritty of what it takes to build a successful business.

Host

We’re thrilled to have Maria Broström, a Swedish legend and friend of the Way Up North family, hosting the day. Maria will keep the day flowing with a mix of humour and warmth.

Workshops

This day is designed to be full of practical knowledge and actionable ideas. We’ve curated five workshops, each with a distinct topic and tangible takeaways. Each workshop is around 60 minutes long, and we’ll take breaks throughout the day to grab food and mingle with fellow guests and sponsors.

Workshop Lineup

Here’s a brief overview of each workshop (more detailed versions can be found here):

• Aga Maru – Cash In on Your Craft: Learn how to maximize sales and revenue from each photoshoot with proven strategies and innovative tools from Pic-Time.
• Mark Pacura – Clients Remember How They Feel: Focus on nurturing your existing clients rather than solely seeking new ones. Use tangible products to turn your clients into ambassadors and boost your yearly profit by 30%.
• Chris Denner – Being Unapologetically Yourself: Join Chris as he shares his journey of being true to himself as a creative, and learn how to connect with your genuine self in a world that often tries to mold you into something else.
• Angela Shae – Instagram Reels Made Easy: Learn to create reels in minutes, streamline your social media workflow, and connect with your dream clients through Instagram reels.
• Maciej Suwałowski – Flash Baby!: Flash techniques for photographers who suck with flash techniques (we all have a bit of room to improve, right?). Three techniques in 60 minutes that are fool-proof: bounce flash, handheld flash, and direct flash.

Format & Size

The day is designed to be an intimate and collaborative space, with around 50 guests. We’ll have breaks throughout the day to grab food and mingle with fellow guests and sponsors.

Logistics

Please note that guests are responsible for their own transportation to Stockholm. Additionally, please budget for your own food and beverages. For accommodations, we recommend booking at NOFO in Södermalm.
