Here! We! Go! Way Up North’s next show in Vienna is full of action and will be a lively event.
The theme for the show is NO BAD DAYS, and we intend on having three glorious days this October!
Below is the schedule for the three days, including a few extra events to consider. Get your game face on – it will be a busy show in Austria!
Welcome to the Canon couple sessions! Canon is the Platinum sponsor for the second time, and as we learned in Rome, puts on an amazing session. So we’re bringing the same energy to Vienna!
Joining for this couple session is a great way to start your experience in Austria. You must be on the guest list to join the sessions, and the opportunity to sign-up will be in September.

Come say hello to old friends and make new ones! This is an optional social gathering and a chance to grab your event badge early.
If you’re new to WUN, you will need a guest badge to enter the theatre on October 11th and 12th. Bring identification to the welcome gathering. Once there find the WUN team setup, and we will match your name to the guest list and you will receive your badge. Easy.
Use this welcome gathering as an opportunity to socialise! Guests agree that the social element is an important takeaway from the event. So take advantage of this and grab a casual beverage together with others!
Doors open at 08:00, so swing by early and grab a beverage at the cafe in the foyer.
Once inside, Way Up North team members will be set-up in the foyer. Bring ID – something like a drivers licence, passport, etc – any ID with your name on it is fine. With that, you can receive your guest badge.
Also, mingle with sponsors! They will be set-up waiting to greet you in the morning. Shake a few hands, learn some new names, connect faces to IG handles you’ve been following.
Then, enter the theatre and let our illustrious host, Magic, get the show started!

As years go by we realise that we are always learning. Our talk will show you our apprenticeship from the beginning, our many mistakes, and our successes.
Managing clients is one of the hardest part of our job. It doesn’t matter if you’re dealing with 10, 30 or 50 people. It can be stressful and annoying. If you do it wrong, you can affect the image of your name and become overwhelmed by the amount of work. I’m fascinated by the topic of love and in my current project “Saudi Tales of Love”, I explore what happens beyond the wedding day as well as telling the stories of Saudi women who never fell in love, got divorced, or became widows. My story serves as an invitation to use your unique background and skills to find and document important stories in your own backyard.
There is no such things as bad days in our job. Our baggage of experience and skills can help us turn a stone into gold. We always have to look at the “bride” side of it. That’s what we do. Every experience that I’ve lived in my life has brought me something important that has led me to become the person I currently am and it reflects my interpretation of photography. I strongly believe that a good karma could help facing the bad days when they come. Hopefully, my experiences will give you some hint so, why not diving into it together?
In this quick hit & run presentation I’ll be discussing that by making your clients feel valued, secure and loved, you will not only dramatically improve your work as a photographer but will also grow your business. Treat your clients like royalty and you’ll never have a bad day again. Trust me.
Is it possible to find a perfect balance in life, between work and everything else? Is it possible to stay in love with what you do without burning out? Life has several simple truths, and so does being a (wedding) photographer. Learn how to accept your own fears and make decisions in spite of them. Be honest about who you are and what your values are. Find and define happiness under your own conditions.
