In a spectacular celebration of wedding photography's finest talent, the 2024 Way Up North Awards were unveiled live on stage in Berlin before an audience of 550 enthusiastic guests. The live reveal is the point. Nobody knows until the room knows, and that is what makes these awards worth sitting through.
This year marked our most competitive awards season since their inception in 2017. Our dedicated judges reviewed approximately 10,000 submissions across all contests, witnessing an extraordinary display of creativity, technical excellence, and emotional storytelling.
Our Esteemed Judges
None of this would be possible without our incredible panel of judges who devoted countless hours to carefully evaluating each submission. We extend our deepest gratitude to our photography judges, all of whom are Imagen ambassadors:
Their expertise, discernment, and passion for the craft have been instrumental in identifying the outstanding work you'll see below.
While we don't know if the WUN Awards represent the largest wedding photography competition in the world, that metric has never been our focus. What matters most to us is the power of community, the way these awards bring together photographers who inspire, challenge, and celebrate one another. The Way Up North community continues to demonstrate that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and we couldn't be prouder of what we've built together.
Below you'll find the 120 winning images across our 12 photo categories. Each represents not just technical skill, but a moment of genuine human connection captured forever. Congratulations to all our winners!
Thank You Imagen
We must express our profound gratitude to Imagen, the title sponsor of the WUN Awards. Since they joined Way Up North in Copenhagen in 2021, they have been an unwavering partner and cornerstone supporter of our community. Their continued sponsorship of the awards over the past few years has been instrumental, and without their support, it's hard to know if the WUN Awards would exist today.
Imagen's commitment to the photography community extends beyond sponsorship, their ambassadors serve as our distinguished judges, bringing expertise and integrity to the selection process.
Thank you, Imagen, for backing these awards and the photographers in them.
