01
The short version
In shortWe only use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your choices. Nothing for advertising.
A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser, so it can remember something between pages, like the fact that you're signed in. Browsers can also keep other small bits of data (local storage, session storage and IndexedDB). Apps keep similar data on your phone. We cover all of them here.
Our rule is simple: we only store what makes WUN work, or what you asked us to remember. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no following you around other websites.
02
Cookies we set
In shortFive essential sign-in cookies and three that remember how you like the page to look.

In the app
In shortSecure sign-in, your settings and an offline copy, all on your phone.
The app doesn't use browser cookies. It keeps:
Secure sign-in storage

- Your session, in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore, so you stay signed in.
- How long
- Until you sign out
App preferences and installation ID

- Your app settings, and an ID for this installation so notifications reach the right device.
- How long
- Until you delete the app
Offline copy
- What it's for
- Recently viewed content, conversation history and your tickets, so the app opens fast and works with a weak signal.
- How long
- Refreshed as you use the app; removed when you delete the app
Drafts and progress
- What it's for
- Unsent messages and posts, onboarding progress and whether you've seen the welcome screen.
- How long
- Until you send them, finish or delete the app
Push token

05
Other companies' cookies
In shortA few services we rely on may set their own cookies when you use them.
06
Why there's no cookie banner
In shortNo pop-up, because there's nothing to agree to. If that changes, we'll ask first.
Cookies that are essential, or that only remember a choice you made, don't need consent under EU and Swedish rules, so wayupnorth.co doesn't greet you with a banner. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies there, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent before setting any of them, with a way to change your mind later.
07
Your choices
In shortYour browser and phone settings decide. Here's where to look.
08
Keeping this list honest
In shortThis list follows the code, and the date shows the last change.
This list is kept up to date with the code. When something is added or removed, this page changes and so does the date at the top. If the change matters, for example a new kind of cookie that needs consent, we tell you in advance.
