After 10 years and 20 events across Europe, we’re heading somewhere we’ve been trying to get for a long time.
May 4th and 5th, 2027. Our 21st edition. Photographers have been asking us to host in this city for years. This year we finally have the venue for it.
Tickets are on sale today. The city is announced on October 14th at our Valencia gathering. If you trust us on the dates alone, €195 gets you in before anyone else knows where we’re going.
Where
Host city announced October 14th, 2025, at our Valencia gathering. Until then, two hints.
First, for anyone travelling from outside Europe: the airport is one of the biggest on the continent. Large, busy, flights from everywhere. We’re not asking you to make three connections to get there.
Second: this is a city photographers have been asking us to host for years, and for good reason given how many weddings happen there. We’ve wanted it too. The holdup was always the venue. Now we have one.

First Mover: €195 + VAT (date only, limited availability)
Early Bird: €295 + VAT (from October 14th, ~17:00, when the city is announced)
Second Wave: €395 + VAT (from October 19th, 17:00)

What is Way Up North? Way Up North began in 2015 as a gathering for wedding photographers in Sweden. Now approaching our 21st edition, we’ve grown into a biannual celebration of the wedding photography community across Europe.
Each spring and fall, we bring together photographers, filmmakers, planners, florists, and other wedding creatives for two days of presentations, creative exploration, and community building in a new European city.
Everything happens in one theater around a single theme for a cohesive, immersive experience. Between talks, connect with sponsors, explore the host city, and build friendships with like-minded creatives from all backgrounds and experience levels.
Ticket Policy Tickets are non-refundable but fully transferable. Can’t make it? Sell or gift your ticket to someone else – just send us their name and contact details. Tickets cannot be transferred between events or used as credit toward future events.
