Two couples, two days, and an island that turned out to be nothing like we expected. Here's what February in Lanzarote looks like, and how to come with us.

Your Spanish Holiday (ahem... Workshop) Awaits
We ran our first Lanzarote workshop back in February. Not knowing what to expect, our hopes were along these lines:
cool landscapes
reasonably inexpensive everything
easy to get to
warmth in the depths of winter, at least if you live in the Nordics
A low bar, and we set ourselves up nicely for success. What we didn't expect was to have our minds blown.
ICELAND, BUT WARMER
What caught us off guard was the variety. We covered the whole island in two days, so we saw a lot, and for somewhere that small the range of landscapes is wild. We kept coming back to the same thought: this is tropical Iceland. Volcanic ground, rugged in every direction, contrast everywhere you point the camera.
FAST FORWARD TO 2027
We're going back. Two couples are confirmed, both in wedding attire, both real couples rather than models, and everyone is set for two days of sunrise to sunset.
If you're thinking about joining us, here's the breakdown.
You'll fly into ACE, and home base is Arrecife. Last time we stayed at Hotel Lancelot and we'll likely do the same again.
Arrival is February 8th, with nothing planned that day beyond getting to know each other. The 9th and 10th are sunrise to sunset, one couple each day. Nothing planned for the 11th.
Expect to cover a lot of the island, including most of the must-sees. A ride is included, although this always comes up so let's say it out loud: you can rent a car if you'd rather drive. They're cheap, and some people prefer it, whether that's car sickness or just liking to be behind the wheel.
When the workshop wraps, the photos are yours. Share them proudly, and use them to go and book a real elopement or wedding in Lanzarote. We'll be cheering you on, and we'll share plenty of tips and tricks while we're out there to help make that happen.
MEET THE COUPLES
Before committing to a workshop, most people want to know who they’ll be photographing. Fair enough, it’s the whole thing.
Both couples in Lanzarote are real couples. Both have been in front of a camera before, and both work in the wedding industry themselves. They know exactly what they’re signing up for, which makes a bigger difference than people expect. No standing around explaining what you need, no awkwardness while everyone warms up. They’ll be excellent to work with.
