Anna Ascari

About

I'm Anna, founder of Hakuna Matata Weddings, a thriving wedding photography team based in Modena, Italy. My journey in wedding photography began in high school, and I've been capturing love stories for nearly nine years. At 19, I established my own business, which has since grown to a team of 15 talented professionals. My work has been recognised at Way Up North, where I was honoured as Europe's Best Young Photographer (2021) in Copenhagen and later as Europe's Best Wedding Photographer (2022) in Prague. I'm also one of the organisers of the Roadie Workshops in the Dolomites, where I share my passion and techniques with fellow photographers. While we primarily photograph weddings throughout Italy and Europe, I recently celebrated an exciting milestone by shooting my first wedding in America. This marks a new chapter for Hakuna Matata Weddings as we officially expand our services worldwide.
