I'm Camila Urrea, a Mexican-born, London-based photographer, artist, and educator. For over a decade, photography has been my way of exploring the world, observing human connection, and finding beauty in the ordinary and unexpected. My work lives somewhere between documentary and editorial photography, guided by curiosity, emotion, and a deep appreciation for art, composition, and storytelling.
I photograph weddings and celebrations around the world, but what has always fascinated me most is everything that happens in between. The fleeting moments, the imperfect details, the gestures that often go unnoticed. I approach photography as a form of observation and curation, creating images that feel honest, poetic, and timeless.
Beyond my own photographic practice, I'm the founder of Rise by Creatives, an educational platform born from my love for sharing knowledge and building community. Through education, mentorship, and creative experiences, I hope to encourage other photographers to discover their own visual language, trust their intuition, and create work that feels genuinely their own.
