Twice a year, we host Way Up North. And twice a year, the Wooden Banana Party closes the event.
In short, the party has become legendary for being fun, wild, and messy. Part of the fun is the theme, which changes for each event.
Banana Flower
In Lisbon, the Wooden Banana Party theme is BANANA FLOWER. Now the theme is set, it gives you a chance to dress as you see fit.
From flower crowns to floral dresses, the choice is yours on how you want to dress for the party.
Bring A Guest
If you have a ticket for Way Up North Lisbon, you are automatically on the guest list (which is checked at the door). However, you might want to bring a friend who doesn’t have a ticket for Way Up North. That’s fine, but they must purchase a party ticket, which can be done below.

We are thrilled to welcome back Adriana Mižigárová and Ondrej Rychnavský, who have been part of the family with us at the last three events in Florence, Berlin, and Prague. Their return for the Lisbon event marks their fourth time with us, and they’ll also be the DJs setting the vibe in the theatre during the event in Villaret. Their music has become a signature part of the Way Up North experience, and we can’t wait to see how they’ll make the Banana Flower theme come alive.
And then there’s Michael Antonia, a true legend in our WUN family, who closes the party. Michael has graced nearly every single event since 2015, missing only one. Although he’s technically retired from DJing, we’ve somehow managed to convince him to travel all the way from Washington State to Europe twice a year. His presence is nothing short of a miracle, and his sets are always the highlight of the night, ensuring that the dance floor goes completely off. If this is your first party with Michael, you’re in for an (amazing) surprise this fall in Portugal.
