Pic-Time Storytelling Evening in Valencia

The Storytelling Evening is two hours of photographs on a big screen. They go up one at a time, and whoever took each one gets up and tells the room what was going on when they pressed the shutter. Some of the stories are funny. Some of them will knock the wind out of you.

There is no line-up and nothing prepared in advance, so the whole evening is built out of what people send in. That is why you are here. We need a photograph from you.

Same room as the talks, so you won’t have far to walk. Everyone at Way Up North is welcome to come along and everyone is welcome to send in a photo, whether it’s your first Way Up North or your tenth. Grab a drink, find a seat, listen to some good stories.

That’s the theme this year. It came out of the pile of quotes you sent us a while back, and it’s the one Pic-Time and Way Up North kept coming back to.

So which piece of you is in the frame? It doesn’t need to be your best work and it definitely doesn’t need to be an award winner. We’re after the photo you’ve never had a good reason to talk about until now.

If we pick yours

It goes up on the big screen at Teatro Talia and you come up and tell us what happened. Funny, sentimental, irreverent, sad. It’s your photo and your story, and you decide how much of it to share.

Pic-Time picks the images and we can’t fit everyone in. Help us fill the screen!
