The workshop is on June 3rd, 2025.

Experience the fairytale Swedish region of Hälsingland through three uniquely styled couple sessions. Arrive in Söderhamn on June 2nd, and from there your adventure in the historical landscapes of Hälsingland begins.

Accommodation: Accommodation are not included in the workshop, and we recommend staying at Prästgården Hotell & Bryggeri.

Transportation: All transportation during the workshop days from Söderhamn is included. Guests will need to get to Söderhamn, which is easily accessible by SJ train (approximately 2 hours north of Arlanda Airport).

Format & Locations

This intimate workshop is limited to ten photographers keen to expand their portfolios and experience one of Sweden’s most picturesque and culturally rich regions. Guests will be split into two groups of five for certain parts of the day. Here’s what’s on offer:

Morning Session: Sunrise shoot by the water with our first couple. Features include:
– Romantic and dramatic waterfront setting
– Intimate ceremony setup with candles and clifftop table
– Couple in flowing dress and washed grey/navy blue linen suit
– Vow reading ceremony and intimate moments
– Creative direction and styling provided

Day Session: Adventure through Hälsingland/Söderhamn with our second couple, incorporating:
– Modern urban photography in Söderhamn
– Vespa/moped shots around town
– Picturesque picnic setup with champagne and cake
– Contemporary styling with clean lines and modern outfits
– Lunch at Albertina

Evening Session: Forest ceremony and intimate dinner setting featuring:
– Cabin preparation and getting ready moments
– Forest ceremony setup
– Deck reception with drinks
– Elaborate “serpentine” table setting for twelve
– Styled grazing platters and intimate dinner setup
– Perfect for luxury elopement portfolio pieces

Hosts

Karolina Wahlman

Karolina Wahlman is a certified wedding planner and event stylist with extensive international experience. Since 2018, she has specialized in wedding planning through her professional event companies, Wahlman Weddings and The Wedding Agency.

Cole Roberts

Cole, co-founder of Way Up North, Hop Farm Beach, Nordica, has been a Fujifilm X-Photographer since 2016. He lives in Gävle, Sweden, where he enjoys his cabin life, chopping wood and tuning into country music.

We need three couples for this workshop. If you’re interested in being photographed part of the day and participating as a regular workshop guest the part, please get in touch.

The workshop group size is 10 people, plus the couples who we photograph.
