Irena Bajceta

Irena is a graphic designer and photographer from Podgorica, Montenegro. For the past 10 years, she has been working in weddings, documenting love stories, emotional moments, and all the beautiful chaos in between.

For someone with such an extroverted job, she is quite introverted. She sees her work through emotion first and is often the one quietly crying behind the camera during speeches and vows, while keeping the photos sharp.

Outside of work, she’s a mix of quiet observation and unexpected commentary. She grew up on metal music, has a strange sense of humour, and can turn into a big talker when the conversation feels right. She loves travelling, reads a few pages here and a chapter there, and calls three-ingredient meals “cooking.”

Her personal therapy is her two cats and a dog, her boyfriend, staring at the sea, travelling, reading, and painting. What connects it all is that Irena is always looking for feeling. In people, in places, in light, and in the small, imperfect moments that usually say the most.
