Our adventure unfolds in Cortina d’Ampezzo, a breathtaking location roughly 2 hours north of Venice. For those arriving by air, we’ll coordinate transportation if it matches our hosts’ arrival times.
The Dolomites are an area we know inside out. This will be our ninth visit for hosting, and we’re ready to share its most awe-inspiring views and hidden gems with you.
This workshop promises to be a pivotal moment for your portfolio. Prepare to capture a series of remarkable shots from this Italian journey.
Format & Size
Prepare for a dynamic, photography-centric adventure on May 26th + 27th, 2026. This workshop demands physical activity, including hikes and potentially challenging weather conditions. Expect some long drives to reach the best photography spots. Our goal is to maximise our time together, exploring as many incredible locations as we can in two packed days.
Midday group discussions will focus on business strategies and personal growth as an artist. While photography and exploration are at our core, these conversations add depth to the experience. Roadie is about embracing the unexpected – if you’re looking for structured, lecture-style learning, this might not be your vibe. We’re all about the adventure and adaptability.

Cole Roberts
Cole is the co-founder of Way Up North, Nordica, Hop Farm Beach and has been a Fujifilm X-Photographer since 2016. Living in Gävle, Sweden with his family, he often dreams of more time at his cabin, immersed in nature, chopping wood, and enjoying country music.
Included / Not-included
We offer transportation from Venice to the Dolomites if your flights coincide with our hosts’ on May 25th. Return trips to Venice airport on May 28th are also covered, matching the host’s schedule.
We’ll gather on the evening of May 25th in Cortina, setting the stage for two days of adventurous photography. Expect sunrise to sunset shoots on the 26th and 27th – long days filled with photographic opportunities.
Participants are responsible for their own accommodation in Cortina d’Ampezzo, and workshop fees do not cover meals and drinks. Guests can stay anywhere they choose in Cortina, but we know that Hotel Olimpia will be where the host stays. It’s central, reasonably priced, and solid.
Model Couples
We are seeking two couples to photograph during our Dolomites elopement workshop. If you are a photographer or filmmaker and interested in this opportunity, please get in touch.
The arrangement is simple: you model on one day of the workshop and participate as a regular workshop attendee on the other day (when you’re not modelling). Naturally, you will receive copies of the photos. It’s best if couples bring their own wedding attire, but if that’s not possible, let us know and we can assist in arranging a dress. Your expenses will include flights, shared car rental, and accommodations. There are no fees for participating in the workshop itself.
