When & Where

September 2nd and 3rd, 2025

On September 1st, the group will gather in Tórshavn in the afternoon, which will be our home-base throughout the workshop. We’ll take some time to get to know each other and kick off our adventure together.

The workshop will be held on September 2nd and 3rd, from sunrise until sunset, making for long days filled with photography opportunities. We’ll have breaks throughout the day for everyone to catch their breath, but be prepared for a full-on experience as we aim to make the most of our time together.

Format & Locations

During the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to capture stunning shots of two couples in wedding attire – one per day. We keep our group sizes small with a maximum of 6 guests, ensuring an intimate and personalized experience.

Locations are the most exciting part of this workshop. Day one will start with a visit to the iconic Múlafossur waterfall on the island of Vágar, followed by a scenic drive through the Faroe Island’s lush landscapes. In the afternoon, we will photograph the breathtaking views at Gásadalur and enjoy the picturesque village of Bøur. Finally, we’ll end the day at Sørvágsvatn, the largest lake in the Faroe Islands, surrounded by impressive cliffs and stunning vistas.

Day two begins with a visit to the peaceful and picturesque village of Gjógv, known for its dramatic cliffs and stunning coastal views. Next, we’ll travel to the beautiful island of Kalsoy, where we’ll capture the charm of its quaint villages and steep cliffs. After lunch, we’ll continue to the village of Saksun, where we’ll take in the breathtaking views of the mountains and fjord. Finally, we’ll end the day photographing the stunning landscapes of the Fossá waterfall.

Accommodations and food and beverages are not included in the workshop fee. However, we recommend Hotel Føroyar as a great option to stay in Tórshavn. Once the workshop fills up, we’ll connect you with other participants via a private WhatsApp group so you can explore shared accommodations. Please keep in mind that flights to Vágar Airport (FAE) are not included in the workshop fee, and you’ll need to make your own travel arrangements. However, we’ll take care of transportation during the workshop on September 2nd and 3rd.
