When & Where
April 21 + 22, 2026
We’ll explore the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, an iconic region two hours from Reykjavik. Starting with a group gathering in Reykjavik on the evening of April 20th, we’ll spend the next two days shooting at sunrise and sunset across a variety of stunning locations. With this intimate setting, you’ll have time to grow as an artist while seizing every photographic opportunity Iceland has to offer.
Format & Size
This workshop is dynamic and physically engaging, involving hiking and adjusting to unpredictable weather while visiting various photography locations. Group discussions during midday will focus on business strategies and personal artistic growth. Expect long days full of exploration and photography.
The plan is to leave Reykjavik on the 20th, heading to Snæfellsnes. We’ll photograph from sunrise to sunset on the 21st, then travel to Reykjavik for the night. On the 22nd, we’ll explore Reykjanes, wrapping up with dinner together in Reykjavik that evening.
Host
Cole Roberts will host this workshop. He is the founder of Way Up North, Nordica, and has been a Fujifilm X-Photographer since 2016. He lives in Gävle, Sweden with his wife and three kids. He wishes he spent more time at his cabin chopping wood and lighting fires while listening to country music.
Included / Not Included
- Included: Transportation from Reykjavik city centre from April 20th-22nd.
- Not Included: Accommodation and meals. Participants will be responsible for their own lodging and food. We’ll stay together on April 20th in Snæfellsnes (details shared once the group is full), and back in Reykjavik on the 21st and 22nd.
