2025 Europe’s Best Wedding Filmmaker Finalists

Europe’s Best Wedding Filmmaker has been part of the WUN Awards since their inception in 2017. The process begins with nominations from across the industry. Nominated filmmakers are invited to participate, and those who accept submit their best wedding films from 2025 for judging.

The list of previous winners reads like a who’s who of European wedding film. Kaco Films won back-to-back in the first two editions. Nomattertheweather and A&Y Videography have both taken the top spot and, as you can see, are nominated again in the 2025 edition. And if Amor’s Not Dead rings a bell beyond the awards, it should: they hosted Way Up North in Berlin a few years back.

That’s the thing about this category: the names that win here tend to keep showing up across our beautiful little industry, all with a small connection to Way Up North.

The overall winner will be announced live on stage in Vienna on May 6. For now, here are the three finalists whose work has earned them a place in Way Up North history, alongside past winners of this highly competitive category.
