Pic-Time Storytelling Evening in Lisbon

Picture this: It’s October 22nd, around 17:00, and the show at Villaret has just wrapped up. You’ve got about two hours to kill before the Pic-Time Storytelling Evening kicks off at 19:00. You leave Villaret and begin a 45-minute stroll down Lisbon’s hilly boulevards towards the must-see part of the city where the event is hosted.

As you walk with the sun on your face, you grab a quick drink and snack, then continue your leisurely pace. You and your friends take a few portraits of each other, maybe snap some street photography, and before you know it, you’re seaside in the heart of the city, ready for the Pic-Time Storytelling Evening.

You’ve seen a bit of Lisbon, ticked off some must-sees, and now your WUN experience continues with an evening of fun and storytelling.

Pic-Time Storytelling Evening

The Pic-Time Storytelling Evening, born at WUN Vienna, returns! Stories are meant to be shared, not left gathering digital dust on hard drives. This evening puts you, our WUN guests, in the spotlight. It’s your chance to captivate the crowd with that special story you’ve been itching to tell!

How It Works

This event is complimentary, but your participation is part of the magic. Let’s break it down.

The evening itself is simple enough. During the gathering, we’ll project images on a screen. If your image appears, you’ll have the microphone to share the story behind the photo. Most stories last a few minutes before we move to the next guest.

Your story can be anything – funny, sad, sentimental, irreverent, a mistake, or a success. You choose what to share.

The Fine Print

Space is limited, and there’s a twist. To attend the gathering, you need to sign up. Additionally, if you sign up, you must submit an image which might be shown during the event. Fun, right?

Pic-Time will select from the submitted images, so not EVERY photo will be shown. You may be called upon to share your story, or you might be free to sit back and enjoy the stories of others.

This approach keeps everyone engaged and ensures you’ll show up, which is part of the fun!

Event Details

Planning Ahead:

• Leave Villaret at 17:00 when the presentations end
• Allow about 45 minutes for the walk to Second Home Lisbon
• Plan to grab a light snack along the way
• Attend the Pic-Time Storytelling Evening from 19:00 to 21:00
• After the event, join the group at Time Out Market (located in the same building) for a proper meal together

When: October 22nd, 19:00 – 21:00

Where: Second Home Lisbon, 1st Floor at Time Out Market. Once you’re there, look for The Studio room.

Food & Beverage: Second Home has a bar where you can purchase drinks. However, food is unavailable.

Wrap-up: At 21:00, we’ll wind things down. For those keen to keep the conversations flowing and have a proper meal in the market, head downstairs to Time Out Market for some extra mingling.
