Sitting in a snowy forest eating? He photographed it. Playing with broken plastic horses on the floor? He photographed it. Theater on the lawn, school graduations, pizza on the patio? He photographed everything. My dad's photos are the first and only thing I would save in a fire. The fact that these moments, big and small, have been immortalized thanks to photos is a pure joy and blessing. And that I now do this for others as my profession – that’s just astonishing.
