The next chapter is ready to be written. In our 10-year anniversary year, our spring event will be on April 1st and 2nd, 2025. Whenever we share the date, it’s always with a tiny bit of anxiousness – but this time we feel we nailed it. We’re hosting the show a tad bit earlier than normal to not conflict with those May weddings, and the city we’re hosting has some special things happening around this time. So add it up – and we’re confident.

Why No Information?
The first time we tried selling Way Up North tickets without naming the city was for Copenhagen back in 2019. We had the idea to only announce the date, and just see how it goes. A fun experiment. Then to end the event in Stockholm, we announced Copenhagen in the theatre, and it was euphoric – people shared a moment that you can’t repeat with a social media post.
So a tradition was born.
When we first release tickets, we only share the date as we’re doing today. No location, no presenters – just a date and a promise. A promise that we care enough to take the risk that we’re confident in our decision, and if you believe in our confidence, you’re rewarded with very inexpensive ticket prices. We call this our “Trust Us” price point. It’s our way of rewarding our community’s faith in us, offering our lowest prices to those who believe in the WUN magic.
Fairness and Accessibility
As we gradually reveal more information – first the location, then the presenters – our ticket prices incrementally increase. This isn’t just about pricing strategy; it’s about building excitement. Each reveal is a celebration, a new reason to look forward to our time together.
Also, and more importantly, we believe that our low ticket price opens the door for everyone to join Way Up North without a massive financial burden.
By starting with our lowest price point, we ensure that WUN remains accessible to as many of our community members as possible. It’s our way of saying thank you to those who’ve been with us from the beginning, and welcome to those joining our family.
Looking Ahead to Lisbon
Today you can purchase tickets for €145 + VAT. As you consider whether the Spring 2025 event is a fit for you, you have time before the price jump. That happens right at the end of the show in Lisbon on October 23rd approximately 17:00 local time. At that moment, we pop the champagne and celebrate the next chapter of Way Up North, and the host city for our Spring 2025 event.
