Amsterdam Meet-Up & Storytelling Evening

Amsterdam: Let’s Start 2026 Together
We’re kicking off 2026 with something simple – an offline gathering in Amsterdam on January 8th.
Thanks to Pic-Time’s support, we’re hosting a free community evening at Social Hub Amsterdam City. No agenda beyond getting photographers in the same room, sharing stories, and spending a few hours together.
Here’s What’s Happening
We’re gathering at The Het Parool Theatre inside Social Hub Amsterdam City (Wibautstraat 129, 1091 KR Amsterdam) from 19h to 23h.
The evening centers around storytelling. We’ll project images on the theatre screen, and photographers will share the story behind their photo. It’s that straightforward – an image, a story, and a room of people who understand why photography matters.
Want to share a story? Submit an image through the RSVP form below. Just want to attend and listen? That works too. Either way, we need you to RSVP so we can estimate numbers.

Why We’re Doing This
Offline events matter. We’ve been hosting gatherings since 2015 with Way Up North across Europe, and every single one has led to unexpected connections and collaborations. Sometimes the best things happen when photographers simply share the same physical space.
We want to do more of these in 2026. So why not start the year with one?
Community isn’t built solely through screens and social media feeds. It’s built when people show up, share stories over drinks, and remind each other why they fell in love with this work in the first place.
