I'm thrilled to return to Stockholm for my 4th Way Up North! I've been going through some pretty big changes. My house along with basically all of my things and my whole neighborhood burned down at the start of the year, and I guess that's the type of $hit that'll really get you thinking about what's important. The other three times that I had the privilege of being a part of WUN, my approach was to encourage creatives by saying that the world needs your own contribution. And I still think that to some degree, but my pitch it a little different. Before I thought - since you have your own individual creative self, you OWE it to the rest of us to make things. Now I think it's less that you OWE it, and more that you OWN it. Because for a short time, my creativity was one of the only things that I stilled owned, and I realized that it is both more precious to me than anything material, and it's also fire proof. I will be working on a presentation from this viewpoint from now until the event in October. I am really honored to be a part of this again, and I hope to see you there.
