Event Summary

Stockholm 2025 was an emotional celebration as we looked back at 10 years of Way Up North. The presenter lineup, the onstage talent, and most importantly the guests made this event a heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey. Held at Skandia Bio where WUN first began in 2015, we came full circle. The tone was thankful and reflective, right down to Michael Antonia DJing his final Wooden Banana Party after an incredible 16 events. Every presenter interpreted the event theme, Why Not?, bringing their own perspective to a question that’s defined so much of what WUN has become over the past decade.

The two most powerful words in the creative vocabulary. You really can just do things. Why not take the leap? Trust your instinct? Build something that doesn’t exist yet? The best ideas come from that reckless moment when you stop overthinking and start creating. We’ve traded bold moves for safe choices, but creativity lives between “this is crazy” and “let’s try it anyway.” Our presenters will explore their “why not” moments, decisions that seemed reckless but changed everything. The best things come when you stop asking “what if I fail?” and start asking “why not try?”

Welcome to Way Up North! We’ve been hosting events in Europe since 2015. Our gatherings bring together wedding creatives like you for two days of inspiration and connection. The core of WUN is our presenters who interpret the event theme on the big stage. The heart is you; the community who share the moments between the moments together. Inspired by the presentations, connected with new friends, and now what?
