Way Up North Awards – 2023 Individual Winners

Crack the champagne! The winners of the 2023 Way Up North Awards were presented live in Florence in front of over 500 guests. This edition marked the 6th installment of the awards dating back to 2017, and it was quite exciting to announce the winners.

The awards were sponsored by Imagen, and the judges were all ambassadors of Imagen. How the individual contests work is quite simple, but we’ll break it down in case you’re new here.

To start, the contest opens for nominations at the end of the calendar year (so December 2023 in this case). Aside from the Story category which anyone can enter, the individual contests require nominations. Whether you’re nominated once or 100 times, it doesn’t matter; a nomination means you’re invited to participate.

Once invited, nominees then submit work to be judged by Imagen’s chosen ambassadors. The highest score wins!
