THE FINAL DANCE

Ten years. Sixteen parties. Eight countries. One thousand tequila shots (Michael’s count, not ours). And on October 29th in Stockholm, it all came to an end.

This was Michael Antonia’s final performance as The Flashdance at Way Up North, and if you were there, you know exactly what that meant. For a decade, Michael has been the soundtrack to every WUN closing party. He’s the person who turned strangers into friends on dancefloors from Rome to Berlin, Lisbon to Stockholm.

In his own words a few days before the party: “Nothing lasts forever, not here, not anywhere. But this party has a real soul to it. It’s the people, it’s the places, it’s Cole & Mark, it’s the way everyone looks during the last song of the night. I dunno, it’s just been so incredibly special.”

He was right. It was special. And Stockholm, with its ABBA theme courtesy of Wooden Banana, was the perfect place for one last dance.

THANK YOU, WOODEN BANANA

Massive thanks to Wooden Banana for sponsoring this unforgettable night and for being part of WUN’s 10-year celebration. Your support made this finale what it was.

MAGIC CAPTURES IT ALL

As always, Magic was there with his camera, freezing those moments we’ll relive for years. Magic has been capturing WUN parties since 2015, and his ability to capture the energy, the connections, and the pure joy on the dancefloor is unmatched.

If you’d like a high-res version of any party photo, email us directly instead of taking a screenshot from the slideshow. And as always, in respect for attendees’ privacy, we won’t be sharing the entire gallery publicly.

THE END OF AN ERA

Michael, thank you. For sixteen parties. For playing inside a cage in a goth club. For every tequila shot. For the friends you made through music who’d get on a plane at 3 AM no questions asked. For the way you made every closing night feel like the only night that mattered.

What a run. What a night. What a decade.

VIENNA AWAITS

The party isn’t stopping. It’s just evolving. See you in Vienna, May 5+6, 2026.

See you in...
