Madeira Workshop: Atlantic’s Hidden Jewel

For the fourth time, we’re returning to the enchanting island of Madeira on November 5-6, 2024. It is not a beach holiday. It is the island we keep going back to for the light.

Madeira, often called the “Pearl of the Atlantic,” offers a unique blend of dramatic landscapes. From the mist on Pico do Arieiro to the cliffs at Ponta de São Lourenço, there is more on this island than two days can cover.

Over five trips we have worked out where the good stuff is. This workshop will take you to locations that go far beyond the typical tourist spots, perfect for creating unforgettable wedding imagery.

What’s in Store

Over two action-packed days, from sunrise to sunset, you’ll capture Madeira’s diverse beauty as we traverse the island, ensuring an all-out experience.

You’ll work with two couples in wedding attire, photographing them against Madeira’s stunning backdrops. But this workshop goes beyond just taking pretty pictures. We’ll share insights on how to market these unique destination elopements and weddings, with the ultimate goal of helping you secure bookings to return with your own clients.

What’s Included

Two full days of shooting, instruction, and on-site transportation. You’ll work with two couples in wedding attire, getting hands-on experience in various locations across Madeira.

What’s Not

You’ll need to sort out your own accommodation, flights, airport transfers, meals, and travel insurance.

Where to Stay

In Funchal, guests are of course welcome to stay where they choose. However, many in our group are staying at Enotel Magnólia.

Once the workshop fills up, we’ll connect everyone so you can coordinate room sharing if you’d like to save on costs.
