Canon & Capture One Styled Shoots in València

Nine styled shoots inside Calatrava’s white city, with Wanda Martin, Alessandro Galatoli and Raïs De Weirdt. Small groups, one session each.
They say when in Rome. Well, when in València you go to the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. White concrete, long reflecting pools, curved ribs and arches.
We have access for the afternoon. Canon and Capture One are bringing three photographers, models and dresses, and running nine styled shoots across it.
Small on Purpose
Eight to ten photographers per session. You get room to move, time to think, and a clear line to the model instead of thirty people fighting over one angle.
Bring your own camera, or shoot the afternoon on Canon’s latest bodies and lenses. Either way bring a memory card: SD or CFexpress Type B.

Wanda photographs couples the way a magazine photographs its cover star, and she is on the Teatro Talia stage on Wednesday with a talk about exactly that. In a building this theatrical, there is nobody better to follow around.

Alessandro is not going to stand and watch. He shoots alongside you, tethered wirelessly from a Canon body straight into Capture One Mobile, so you see the frame land and get edited on the spot. First frame to finished file, outdoors, in front of you.

Raïs De Weirdt
Back by demand. One of Belgium’s best wedding photographers and a veteran of more Canon styled shoots than she can count. Raïs will walk you through the architecture and get you a little bit lost in it.
Open to everyone, Canon shooter or not. Though if the group does get lost, the non-Canon shooters are getting blamed first.

One Each
You can book one session. Every extra seat somebody grabs is one another attendee does not get, so the sign-up holds one for you and no more.
Sign up, and the page shows you your session, your time and your booking reference straight away. We email the same thing to you. Come back any time and put your email in to see it again. No guessing, no signing up twice to be sure.

Before You Go
Bring a memory card. SD or CFexpress Type B. Borrowed bodies do not come with one.
Be early. Each group leaves the meeting point at the top of its slot and it does not wait. Miss yours and we cannot slide you into another one, because every session is full.
The meeting point comes with your confirmation. It is at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía end of the complex. Tram 10 stops there, so do buses 13, 23, 24, 25 and 95.
Ask things. Settings, lighting, how they would handle a client who hates being photographed. Canon’s kit is there to be picked up and used.
